These look so much better than vertical blinds. I probably should have ordered blackouts but I have an enclosed porch so I don’t get much sunlight in this area to begin with. These look great and I’m happy with the product. I have not yet set up the app or voice control so I cannot comment on that but I ordered the remote so that my guests can control these also. Currently I’m using the remote which comes with a remote holder and can be mounted.I’ve attached a picture but I have not yet installed the valance so once I do I’ll come back and edit.Revised...i must say it took me a minute to get it together. I am pleased. It you are ordering a for a very wide window or patio door blinds,order extra valance clips and track hardware. The company is great at assisting and responding.Update: I'm loving my blinds, I finally got them correct. They are actually very classy. Again the seller has been helpful, although our time differences, but they do respond to all emails and the whatsapp.We purchased these Graywind motorized curtains in March. It is now the beginning of May and we have significant concerns. They are fraying terribly on the edges of the pannels. In addition, we have had to reprogram the smart motor to pair with our google once a week. Since the smart motor just goes offline randomly. Theses curtains that START around 350-400, we paid more than this for the options and size, are already falling apart in a few weeks and just poor craftsmanship overall. I'm sad because I was excited for these smart curtains and had high hopes.5/17/22 Update: I was contacted by seller and they will be mailing a replacement valance and panels using the blackout black curtain material. I will update again once received.5/29/22 Update: Received replacement panels and valance made from thicker blackout material. I will wait to see if these hold up longer than the original material and update again.CUSTOMER SUPPORT is EXCELLENT !!I was disappointed and frustrated after the blinds stopped working after 30+ days. My original review (below) was submitted and almost immediately the company's customer support contacted me with sincere concern and desire to rectify the situation. They sent me a new remote control and provided me with additional assistance to get the blinds working as they should. In these days of online ordering and reduced face to face encounters with seller - good customer support is absolutely necessary to ensure continued business. I must say, Graywind customer support was exceptional and enjoyable responsive.They were very sincere in their effort to help and sent me a new remote along with additional support to help me get the blinds working as they should. I am very pleased... not only with the quality of the blinds, but with the exemplary way in which Graywind customer support handled the situation. However, one thing I've learned after years of ordering from Amazon is to not be so quick to create a review on a product until I've had an opportunity to see it in action, or in service, for at least 30 days. After first installing these blinds, I was impressed. That soon turned to disappointment. The remote has stopped working, even after replacing the battery. The blinds no longer respond to Alexa. The only way I can control the blinds is with the app on my phone - which, obviously, is very inconvenient.I would have given the product a 2, except I feel that for the amount of money I paid, it should have worked for more than 45 days.I LOVE these blackout panels. I had a hard time at first trying to connect to the app. I emailed them. Quick response in getting a reply. VERY HELPFUL VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION. I was able to get the app figured out with their help. Totally satisfied!! THANK YOU!!I messed up on the measurements when purchasing they altered it for me free of charge. These shades are really blackout. Only thing the directions was a little difficult but was able to understand it. It just took a minuteMy order was placed during the timeframe that the panel design for wider blinds was changed. The delivery still contained the old documentation with the new hardware configuration. The contact with GW service was surprisingly efficient not seen for a long time. Zoe took the time to write a detailed instruction how to assemble the 2 piece track. In addition I was sent an early instruction manual in pdf format which gave me insurance that I did the job correctly. My initial bench test proved it. Only yesterday did I stumble over an online video to describe the new process. The communication via e-mail was again so prompt (within 24h or less) which made a phone call completely unnecessary. Final installation is still on hold - waiting for the replacement 8'x8' sliding door. Test with tuya smart app and alexa integration with echo 4gen will have to wait till then. Based on my experience I meanwhile ordered 5 blinds from GW,motorized with rechargeable batteries and have them working already. Product review to come shortly.
